It has been an eventful and challenging year that went by. At the outset, I take this opportunity to thank our valuable customers for their continued partnership in building FEDMAC as a creative full package garment supplier from India/ South Asia. Eventful in terms of China’s changing economic scenario with     India / Fedmac well positioned to step into China’s shoes and challenging due to volatile raw material markets with unprecedented cotton prices.

Having said this, innovation continues to be the USP at Fedmac helping us differentiate from competition.

      Fiber + Fabric Innovations: - Organic cotton with performance, bamboo, linen, merino
      wool and hemp (burlap) other than our traditional area of cotton.

     Yarn Innovations: - Compact Spun Yarns, Eli-Twist Yarns, worsted knit yarns.

     Innovations on Performance Finishes: - Providing a range of chemically engineered performance
      finishes on Cotton Fibers / Fabrics using new generation dye classifications, both licensed and
      generic.

The year also saw Fedmac in pursuit of exciting diversification opportunities by setting up Isotope Design Group and AHIMSA to provide creative and technical merchandise design services from its state of the art design studio to customers in US and European markets.

 
Additionally, Fedmac augmented its front end apparel delivery solutions by promoting its own brand “Ahimsa” targeted to the US outdoor retail segment. “Ahimsa” carries the tag line “Live 100%” and promotes a line of eco-friendly clothing with performance like organic cotton clothing herbal dyed with well being properties + organic cotton clothing vegetable dyed + hand spun, hand woven, carbon neutral “Khadi” fabrics and cotton-soya naturally anti-bacterial micro plaited fabrics.
